This project was done in 2011, thanks to the support of the Arts and Literature Fund of the Longueuil area, in collaboration with the Rive-Sud International House. These works are the continuation of stories from recent immigrants from various countries, who accepted to participate to the project and testimony of their uprooting experience. The unstreched canvas was worked like a fabric: dyed, cut, torn, sewn. The big format canvas (7-8 feet long) are sewn from different fragments to create new spaces.
